We are happy to announce that 36th South Asian Language Analysis Roundatable (SALA 36) will be held in Kathmandu,Nepal on July 8-10,2020. The Central Department of Linguistics, Tribhuvan University is the main organizer of this conference.
II.Call for papers
Abstracts are invited for 30 minutes (20+10) talks and posters, as per the following details:
Submissions (Talks and Posters):
The main conference sessions will involve 30-minute talks (20 min. + 10 min. discussion), and poster presentations. Contributions can focus on results from completed as well as ongoing research. Presentations should describe original, unpublished work. Submit through easychair at easychair.
Deadline: Extended till midnight of 5th February 2020 (Nepal Standard Time).

We invite abstracts for individual presentations, and posters. We welcome submissions concerning research on South Asian languages pertaining to one or more of the following topics, but not limited to:
All abstracts should be submitted in word and PDF format not exceeding 500 words through easychair (https://easychair.org/cfp/SALA36). Abstracts should be no more than one page of text (with a limit of 500 words), with an additional page for figures, examples, and references. The abstract should be in 11 pt. in Times New Roman font with 1 inch (2.54 cm) margin on all 4 sides and include a title. Omit author name(s) and affiliation(s) (including in PDF document properties), and avoid obvious self-reference. The language of the conference is English and all abstracts must be written in English. Please indicate whether you would like the abstract to be considered for a talk, a poster or either. In addition, it is necessary to also indicate whether the abstract is for the main session or for one of the workshops.
